Cavalcade of Lights 2012

The 47th edition of the evening festival starts at 7pm in Nathan Phillips Square. Visitors can enjoy some free concerts, fireworks and party music during the Saturday, November 17, 2012 event that kicks off the Holiday Season. The City's official Christmas Tree has been decorated with loving care, especially after the Hurricane Sandy damages.

This celebration runs in combination with the 100th Grey Cup Festival and you can get a photo of the actual Grey Cup at the festival tent.

Musicians Suzie McNeil begins the nights musical talent starting at 7pm, with Sean Jones and performer Alyssa Reid. The square lights up at 8pm and fireworks will follow the official lighting ceremony. Finally the Sno-Ball rocks the house with Dragonette and free fire show by Circus Orange. Later you can feel the beat an dance to the open-air DJ dance party.

The Zip Line runs from the far side of the reflecting pond, over the Council Chambers and between the two towers or Mordor.
